The Deftones are my favorite band, hands down. They are: Chino Moreno, Vocals; Chi Cheng, Vocals and Bass; Stef Carpenter, Guitar; Abe Cunningham, Drums. They can be the hardest hitting alt-metal band you've ever heard. They can also be the most mellow, emotional and deep bands. Their albums go from all-out fury and raw emotion, to serene and melodic. And when they go mellow, dont think they lose their edge, they manage to pull it off just right. They put out their first album in 1995 called Adrenaline. This is more a rock record than anything. The songs are raw and loud, just the way i like it. Some songs really stand out, like Bored, Nosebleed, 7Words, Engine No. 9 and the dreamy Fist. Their next album, Around The Fur was lightyears ahead of Adrenaline. They came a long way and had developped their own sound. The best songs were My Own Summer, Mascara, Be Quiet And Drive, Headup and the hidden track, Damone. They toured for awhile then finally in 2000, their latest album The White Pony is due for release June 20. The first single from The White Pony is already out, Change.

deftones.com: The band's official website. Great stuff they got, all the official stuff, multimedia, bio, lyrics, contests...
deftones world wide: The label's official website. Same as above, plus more.
thedeftones.com: An unofficial page, but it's a good one, up to date news, everything. A good fan section too, great resource.
deftones.net: Another unofficial site, but a good one. I don't go there much, but it's worth the trip.
